IMG Licensing renews its global representation agreement with Ubisoft. As the company’s exclusive licensing agency, IMG Licensing will continue building on its successful franchises while driving new partnerships and collaborations across the market.

Under the new agreement, IMG Licensing will expand on Ubisoft’s leading titles, including Far Cry, The Division, Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, and Brawlhalla. Leading to the renewal, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Shadow had a record-breaking launch with more than 3 million players within its first week. IMG Licensing aided the video game’s global expansion via collaborations with Venum, Anit-Social Social Club, Hasbro (Magic: The Gathering), Asmodee, and Sprayground.Â
To launch the renewal, IMG Licensing is partnering with Snow Commerce to operate Ubisoft’s online store. This deal will create a one-stop destination for consumers to explore and purchase the company’s range of products nationwide.
“Over the last few years, our partnership with IMG has played an important role in expanding the global footprint of our brands beyond gaming. As we continue to build on the momentum of Assassin’s Creed and bring new titles to life, we’re excited to extend this partnership and reach even more fans through innovative and meaningful licensing collaborations,” says Francois Tallec, Vice President of Partnerships and Consumer Products at Ubisoft.
