Families can get ready to gamify meal time with the latest board game from Wilder Toys and WowWee.

In partnership with Endemol Shine North America, the companies are releasing the officially licensed MasterChef Family Cooking Game, inspired by the popular culinary competition series.

In the game, players cook their way through a series of different challenges, with categories including Mystery Ingredients, Game Changers, and Mad Skills. The game includes 22 family-tested recipes that cater to a variety of eaters, with options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. As they play, kids will learn valuable cooking skills and practice teamwork as they tackle challenges together in an attempt to score big on the judges’ scorecards. Along with the recipes, this game includes two kid-safe knives and a blindfold for taste testing.

“In today’s digital world, it is refreshing to have a game that encourages families to put down their devices and pick up a spatula or whisk to work together towards a common (and delicious) goal,” says Scott Shillet, vice president of licensing at Endemol Shine North America. “From the Ricotta Gnocchi to the Elegant Eclairs, I can confidently say that this is the best-tasting board game you will ever play.”

The MasterChef Family Cooking game costs $19.99 and is available at major retailers this month, including Target, Amazon, Walgreens, Kohl’s, and Macy’s. This culinary challenge hits shelves just in time, as the 11th season of MasterChef is currently airing on FOX. To learn more about the game, visit
