Fueled by fans on TikTok and refreshed with new technology, WowWee‘s Fingerlings are poised for a comeback!

The Toy Book can confirm that the all-new Fingerlings will debut at The Play Date — a new media event hosted by The Toy Association and Adventure Media & Events (publisher of The Toy Book and The Toy Insider) — today in New York City.

Originally launched in 2017, Fingerlings became a holiday craze and won both the 2018 Collectible Toy of the Year and the overall Toy of the Year (TOTY) Award presented by The Toy Foundation.

For 2023, the all-new Fingerlings are baby monkeys that “bring a heart-to-heart connection to interactive toy play.” Each character boasts soft, flocked hair, vibrant colors, unique personalities, and more than 70 sounds and reactions. And these Fingerlings know when they’re on your finger — their glowing hearts beat just for you! Off your finger, they love to monkey around, and their new posable tails allow them to sit for more ways to play and display.

WowWee will host a photo booth at The Play Date for media guests to take a picture wearing their favorite new Fingerlings.

Fingerlings will return to retail this summer with additional details set to roll out on Fingerlings Fridays. WowWee plans exclusive and surprise characters to accent the refreshed line.
