WowWee Baby Shark

At the Toy Insider’s Sweet Suite event last week, attendees got an early look at some new toys for the holidays (and Shark Week), including the latest from WowWee.

The company behind such hits as Fingerlings and Lucky Fortune has an all-new collection of Pinkfong Baby Shark toys that are swimming into retail for the upcoming holiday season, including electronic puppets and the first-ever Baby Shark Fingerlings. The new toys are in stores now, kicking-off a robust assortment that will expand as summer turns to fall, with an EDU-focused tablet and smartphone, Baby Shark Family bath squirt toys, and a Baby Shark Melody Walker and Shape Sorter on the way.

“We’re excited to continue expanding the world of Baby Shark toys beginning with all new Song Puppets that utilize our innovative Tempo Control feature,” says Emily Chacra, brand manager at WowWee. “Both these, the new Baby Shark Fingerlings and the rest of the line allow children to interact with the popular song and their favorite characters in a whole new way!”

With the the Baby Shark Song Puppets with Tempo Control, kids can “sing” the entire Baby Shark song — changing the tempo by moving the mouth faster or slower.

The Pingfong Baby Shark Fingerlings — the first-ever licensed Fingerlings — will ship to retailers in the U.S. and Canada in late August. Each character includes a light-up fin, and the famous Magic Motion Sensors that allow the Fingerlings to respond to kids with a combination of lights, sound, motion, and song.
