Tonies — the original screen-free audio entertainment system for kids — is expanding its library with the addition of a new Sleepy Time collection for spring.

Sleepy Time Tonies (featured on page 90 of the Feb. 2021 issue of the Toy Book) includes a trio of Tonie figures that interact with the Toniebox audio player. The curated collection is designed to support naptime and bedtime routines through soothing sounds, music, and stories. The assortment includes the classic Bedtime Songs and Lullabies Tonie alongside two all-new additions to the lineup: Nap Time: White Noise Tonie and Nap Time: Nature Sounds Tonie.

“A calming, relaxing, consistent bedtime routine helps babies unwind and understand that it is time to sleep,” says baby sleep expert Carolynne Harvey, founder of Dream Baby Sleep. “Keep it simple: try a quick story or song, turn on their white noise, and then off to bed!”

Kids and parents can place a Tonie figure atop the Toniebox — a soft, shockproof, portable five-inch speaker cube — to activate the included audio.

The Sleepy Time Tonie figures are available for $14.99 each. Families that are new to Tonies can pick up the new Sleepy Time Bundle which includes a Toniebox, a color-matched Creative Tonie for custom recordings, and the full set of three Sleepy Time Tonies for $124.99.

Additional spring additions to the Tonies library in the U.S. include Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit, Eric Hill’s Spot’s Fun with Friends, and Sam McBratney’s Guess How Much I Love You.
