VTech revealed its new lineup of age-appropriate and developmental stage-based electronic learning products for children at the 2016 North American International Toy Fair. The collection includes an expandable, three-in-one learning desk with interactive activity cards; new themes for the award-winning Go! Go! Smart lines; the expansion of Baby Amaze, VTech’s baby doll line, and more than 40 new expert-supported baby, infant, and preschool products.

The Go! Go! Smart lines let toddlers discover cause-and-effect learning as they engage in imaginative role-play and develop fine motor skills with help from fun, friendly vehicles and animals. They deliver these important developmental benefits that help children reach social, emotional, language, cognitive, physical, and motor milestones. As a child places a SmartPoint vehicle or animal over SmartPoint locations found throughout the play sets, it will respond with lights, sounds and music. The playsets also connect with other Go! Go! Smart Wheels and Go! Go! Smart Animals tracks. New products to this line include: Go! Go! Smart Wheels Blast-Off Space Station, Go! Go! Smart Wheels Treasure Mountain Train Adventure, Go! Go! Smart Animals Happy Paws Playland, Go! Go! Smart Animals Roll & Spin Pet Train, and the Go! Go! Smart Animals Furry Animal Assortment.

VTech also expanded its baby line, taking the total offering to more than 30 toys that deliver developmentally appropriate benefits for babies. To ensure that the wide-ranging Baby line helps babies meet essential development milestones, they have been designed in collaboration with Dr. Lise Eliot, early brain development expert and member of VTech’s Expert Panel, to ensure that all Baby products deliver against at least one of the following categories that are essential for the development of young children: language and cognitive development, social and emotional development, and physical and motor development. VTech’s rattles and teethers are important for physical and motor development; on-the-go toys help language and cognitive development; baby plush and soothers lend themselves to social and emotional development; and playmats promote all of these developmental skills.
