Wow! Stuff Harry Potter Invisibility Cloak

Wizards and Muggles seeking to make a quick exit — or at least, appear to disappear — can finally do so with Wow! Stuff’s new Wizarding World of Harry Potter Invisibility Cloak. As we reported exclusively last month, the Cloak has been available for preorder via Amazon, but now it’s appearing in another spot: Walmart.

Created by Wow! Stuff in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, the Invisibility Cloak features authentic patterning as seen in the Harry Potter films, along with a green, silk-style interior. The magical illusion comes to life with the aid of an iOS or Android device. Each cloak comes with a unique authentication code that will allow users to unlock the Invisibility Cloak section of the free Wow! Stuff app. Wearers can then photograph or film themselves re-enacting iconic scenes from the Harry Potter lore. At the Toy Insider‘s 10th anniversary Sweet Suite event in New York City last week, attendees had the opportunity to experience the illusion first-hand in the Pop Insider‘s What’s Poppin’ Lounge.

The Harry Potter Invisibility Cloak is designed for kids ages 8 and up and is available in standard ($69.99) and deluxe ($79.99) versions, with an official street date of Aug. 1.
