As part of a new licensing deal, Kids Preferred and WildBrain are launching a plush collection inspired by Strawberry Shortcake, a popular IP that has spanned series, events, and specials since 1970.
The collection includes plush of Strawberry Shortcake herself alongside her “Berry Besties” and will be designed for infants, toddlers, and kids.
“Strawberry Shortcake has been cherished by generations of fans for her kindness, friendship, and signature sweetness,” says Larry Presser, president at Kids Preferred. The colorful plush is designed to bring comfort to, while encouraging sensory exploration and imagination.
The collection launches in 2027 at Amazon and other specialty retailers.
