American Girl Holiday Collector Doll

The windows of American Girl‘s flagship stores in New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles are about to get some additional sparkle.

For the holiday season, Mattel‘s American Girl brand teamed up with Swarovski crystals to create window displays at each of the three locations. Set to unveil this Friday, the windows feature an American Girl-inspired winter wonderland that glistens with 350 Swarovski crystal strands. There will be an additional 130 pounds of Swarovski crystal stardust at the New York City location.

Each location will offer a single American Girl Holiday Collector Doll for sale. Priced at $5,000, each doll is hand-embellished with more than 5,000 Swarovski crystals and beads.

“American Girl has always been the ultimate place to celebrate the holidays,” says Jamie Cygielman, general manager of American Girl. “This year, we’re taking the anticipation to a whole new level featuring a first-ever collaboration with Swarovski. We can’t wait to light up the city together with our dazzling holiday window displays, and inside the store, we’ll wow fans with our limited-edition collector dolls. Plus, in New York, Grammy-winning artist Ciara will join us to ring in the season in style.”

The holiday windows will be on display through Dec. 31. All 17 American Girl stores will feature special holiday events throughout the season.

A limited number of public tickets for the New York City unveiling event will be released via Eventbrite at 9 a.m. ET on Nov. 4. The VIP event featuring Ciara will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday. During the event, 10% of sales will go to Russell Wilson and Ciara’s Why Not You Foundation.
