National Geographic Kids is setting its sights on its youngest explorers.
Blue Marble is expanding its National Geographic Kids toy line into infant, toddler, and preschool products with a new early learning assortment built around screen-free, hands-on play. According to the 2025 Bright Horizons Modern Family Index, conducted by The Harris Poll, 73% of parents said their children could use a “detox” from technology. Among parents with children under 6, that figure was 68%.
The line is organized around Blue Marble’s Play & Learn System, a color-coded, three-stage framework that progresses from sensory exploration to motor skills and reasoning, then problem-solving and creativity. Products span five play pillars: Exploration, Outdoor, Puzzles & Games, Role Play, and Sensory & Motor Skills.
Four hero items lead the 2026 assortment. The Sort & Tumble Playset mixes shape matching with cause-and-effect play. The Dinosaur Stacking Tower sends balls rolling through a buildable dino tower, while the 35-piece Junior Jumbo Marble Run introduces open-ended construction. The Dino-Scope adds magnification, observation, and early STEM play.

The new assortment ranges from $24.99-29.99, with products available through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and specialty retailers, depending on the item. Several sets include Play & Learn cards with additional activities for families.
Blue Marble says a larger wave of National Geographic Kids early learning products is planned for 2027.
