Spielwarenmesse

Preparations are already underway for Spielwarenmesse 2020, taking place in Nuremberg, Germany from Jan. 29 to Feb. 2

The annual international toy fair will welcome industry representatives from around the globe as toymakers show off their latest products and innovations. Registration is currently open for exhibitors looking to book a stand at the event. Applications will be accepted through June 30.

New Exhibitors Welcomed:

The upcoming show will feature a mix of regular exhibitors joining returning companies and a host of first-timers. UK-based Wow! Stuff will be featured in the new Electronic Toys category, while Germany’s Pichler Modellbau GmbH returns to the fair following a break, prepping to set up shop in the newly-combined Model Railways and Model Construction category.

Enhanced Exhibition Appearance:

Spielwarenmesse offers to help first-time exhibitors boost their profile through a variety of services and packages.

  • Starter Package: An easier, quicker, and less complicated way to jump-start an appearance at the fair. Includes basics such as stand construction, furniture, electricity, and cleaning.
  • Product Launch Package: Includes communication tools for targeting the international trade and media representatives for spotlighting a new product.
  • Marketing Package: Includes tools for targeting trade visitors, such as a company listing in the Spielwarenmesse’s print and online media, entries into the exhibition calendar, and 10 free one-day tickets.

Free tutorials and checklists are available to aid exhibitors in planning and marketing for the fair, in addition to planning follow-ups to leads after the fair.

A Second Location = More Exposure:

Special focus and activity areas are available to offer additional product presentation opportunities beyond the actual exhibit stand. Additionally, all exhibiting companies are encouraged to enter their products to the annual Spielwarenmesse ToyAwards at no cost. Nominees and winners will be showcased in the TrendGallery during the fair, and in a dedicated presentation area at the PressPreview. The Innovation Show on the day before the fair gives exhibitors the chance to unveil their innovations to international media representatives.
