The lightsaber: “not as clumsy or random as a blaster; an elegant weapon, for a more civilized age.”

For the past 45 years, those words, spoken by Sir Alec Guinness as Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars (1977), have fueled imagination and discovery as countless kids around the world have raised their own lightsaber toys in a quest to live out their Jedi Knight (or Sith Lord) adventures.

Now, ahead of Lucasfilm’s Star Wars Celebration 2022 (SWCA), set to take place May 26-29 in Anaheim, California, the Toy Book and Hasbro are teaming up to offer an exclusive first look at four, all-new lightsabers that kids ages 4 and up can wield beginning this fall. Two new lightsabers from the Star Wars Lightsaber Forge collection will join a pair of cute new additions to the Lightsaber Squad lineup alongside a host of new Star Wars toys and collectibles that will be on display in the Hasbro booth (No. 2404) at SWCA.
