Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted is getting a sequel game that continues to embrace the virtual reality (VR) trend.
The continually growing Five Nights at Freddy’s brand has gone beyond the world of video games with a recently released movie, a number of collectibles, and more. That doesn’t mean video games are out of the running, however, as the popular horror series continues to see new installments. Steel Wool Studios has just announced the official release date of the upcoming Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted 2.
The original Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted was a VR game that featured a full collection of minigames for players to enjoy, each inspired by other games in the Five Nights at Freddy’s series. The larger plot of the game features Fazbear Entertainment creating “The Freddy Fazbear Virtual Experience,” with mysteries for players to find within as well as multiple endings.
Five Nights at Freddy’s Help Wanted 2 returns to the virtual experience with the PlayStation 5’s PS VR2. The sequel will also include minigames, with six categories: Backstage, Fazcade, Staff Only, Food Prep, Ticket Booth, and one containing new VR versions of Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location gameplay. Players can make crafts, take customer orders, help out the maintenance staff, and more. The PSVR 2’s eye-tracking system will also be taken advantage of for a fortune-telling minigame.
The new Five Nights at Freddy’s Help Wanted 2 will be released on Dec. 14. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, taking full advantage of the system’s PS VR2 virtual reality headset.
