LEGO is taking an opportunity to stop and smell the roses.
The LEGO Group has been actively courting the kidult market with continued releases of sets intended for adult hobbyists. The entire Botanical Collection features LEGO sets with plant themes, designed to function as home decoration after they are built. Previous sets in the collection include succulents, a dried flower centerpiece, and more. Now, a traditional bouquet of roses is joining the series.
The new LEGO Icons Bouquet of Roses set is an 822-piece LEGO set featuring red roses accented with smaller white flowers. The set is designed for adults ages 18 and up. Building instructions are included for each flowering stage, and also available online in the LEGO Builder app. The app was introduced following The LEGO Group’s Play Well 2022 Report, and features a wide range of projects designed for adults.
The LEGO Icons Bouquet of Roses set will be available Jan. 1 at LEGO stores, the LEGO website, and several retailers. The new set joins the recently added LEGO Icons Tiny Plants, which features nine small plant builds, everything from the carnivorous Red Sundew to the tropical Jade Plant.
