Hasbro‘s NERF brand is releasing blasters with a Fortnite twist.
Fortnite, developed by Epic Games, was released in 2017 and has been a hit with young gamers since. The game centers on a battle royale mode where players are dropped in a larger environment and fight to be the last one standing. Fortnite‘s bright colors and many weapon options make it a natural choice for a NERF collaboration. The two brands have released a number of NERF blasters previously, and have now revealed the newest addition: Fortnite Blue Shock Blaster.
The NERF Fortnite Blue Shock Blaster is inspired by equipment players can find in the game, and features the Blue Shock Wrap that can be put on in-game weapons to customize them. The blaster shoots 10 darts in a row and includes a removable 10-dart clip and 10 Elite foam darts. Fortnite players can also unlock The Beat Wrap within the game thanks to an included bonus code.
The Blue Shock Blaster is available now at most major retailers. The blaster follows other NERF and Fortnite collaboration blasters and soakers such as the NERF Fortnite BASR-L Blaster, the NERF Super Soaker Fortnite Pump-SG Water Blaster, and more.
