Board game and video game developer Oink Games is releasing a new board game, Souvenirs from Tokyo. The game is a new addition to the company’s Souvenirs from Venice collection.

Two or more players players ages 8 and up journey through a Tokyo-themed game board seeking souvenirs. As players roll the dice to move their taxi-shaped pieces, the goal is to collect three matching souvenir tiles. The six available souvenir types are dorayaki, origami, manekineko, chopsticks, kimonos, and edokiriko. Additionally, players attend a festival where they can buy souvenirs, but their tiles may get swapped. If players don’t find souvenirs before they’re flipped face up, they miss the bullet train out of Tokyo.

The souvenir tiles were designed to look like Tokyo’s skyscrapers. With vermilion colors, the game honors Tokyo’s historical buildings and cities.

Souvenirs from Tokyo is available only at Oink Games Tokyo Aug. 22. Learn more about Oink Games at oinkgames.com
