Pillowie is getting into the seasonal spirit, and for a good cause.
The Pillowie Bat is a Halloween-themed edition of the cuddly tagalong pillow and blanket set. Part stuffed animal, pillow, and extra storage, the Pillowie Bat represents the hundreds of bat species that call the Amazon rainforests home. Proceeds from the limited edition Pillowie Bat will be donated to aid in response efforts to the Amazon fires in Bolivia, where it is estimated that 10 million acres have burned.
“I’m originally from Bolivia and the recent fires in the Amazon have been devastating to the flora, fauna and indigenous communities in my country,” says Andrea Montes, creator and designer of Pillowie. “I will be personally responsible for delivering the funds and supplies generated by this campaign to the appropriate hands in order to make the most impact.”
The set, which can be worn as a bat Halloween costume, is available in limited quantities on Pillowie.com and Amazon.
