The creator and developer behind the Roybi Robot is powering up its tech with a new acquisition of an artificial intelligence (AI)-focused company.

Roybi Inc. acquired KidSense.AI, a technology platform that focuses on kids’ embedded automatic speech recognition (ASR) and Edge-AI machine learning. KidSense.AI uses the fundamentals of linguistics, neuroscience, and embedded artificial intelligence to build speech recognition technology into physical devices and into the cloud. The platform is developed atop a database of over 150,000 kids’ voices in English, Mandarin, and several other languages.

The KidSense.AI platform is both COPPA and GDPR-K compliant.
