Abby Hatcher

Spin Master is hoping for another PAW Patrol. The team of directors and producers behind the global hit is back with the eighth original series from Spin Master Entertainment, Abby Hatcher. The animated preschool series premiered on Nickelodeon this week, ahead of an international rollout on Nick platforms including Nick Jr. The show follows the adventures of  the title character—a 7-year-old with a giant heart and endless love for her favorite creatures, the Fuzzlies. The furry (and naturally, toyetic) creatures come in all shapes and sizes, each with their own uniquely special abilities. Hatcher lives in her family’s hotel, an environment ripe for adventure.

Abby Hatcher models the power of one little girl to bring together a whole community with her nurturing heart, eternal optimism, and her love and acceptance of everyone, no matter how different they are. Executive producers Ronnen Harary and Jennifer Dodge oversee the series, along with executive producer Jamie Whitney, who acts as showrunner.

Abby Hatcher will premiere on TVO in Canada on Feb. 11. Expect to see the first toys and product ranges at the 116th North American Toy Fair next month. Spin Master most recently made waves with the announcement that they’ll be producing products based on DC Comics characters beginning in 2020.
