WildBrain CPLG is known for its children’s entertainment content, and the timeless Strawberry Shortcake is no exception. The brand is preparing for a new year with animated releases, licensing deals, events, and more. The holiday activations line up with the recent premiere of the new animated Netflix special, Strawberry Shortcake’s Perfect Holiday.

In a partnership with Crisco, five recipes inspired by Strawberry Shortcake have been released. The brand also partnered with Julienne Fine Foods & Celebrations for a tea party on Dec. 10 in California as well as Manhattan’s StuyTown neighborhood for Santa’s Grotto Dec. 13-14.

Taking full advantage of podcast popularity, Strawberry Shortcake will make an appearance in Girl Tales from Starglow Media. The episode, “Strawberry Shortcake and the Winterswirl Storm,” will premiere on Dec. 18.

WildBrain has also secured a number of new licensing deals for the brand across numerous product categories.

For apparel, Sweet Peas, Mad Engine, IML, Hybrid, The Forecast Agency, and Dolls Kill are all expanding their offerings with Strawberry Shortcake. Mad Engine, IML, and Hybrid’s junior apparel lines will be available across several retailers, while The Forecast Agency is offering its expanded apparel range at PacSun in the U.S. and Canada.

In the toy space, The Loyal Subjects has launched a line of new collectibles available at Five Below stores in the U.S. as well as a Strawberry Shortcake ragdoll. Boss Fight Studio has a poseable action figure collection that includes characters Strawberry Shortcake, Orange Blossom, Lime Chiffon, and Huckleberry Pie. The company plans to release more characters in the future.

Additional products include a Strawberry Shortcake puzzle from Blue Kazoo and a range of waterproof stickers from Blank Tag Co. The brand’s gaming partner Budge is also planning digital promotions for the new Netflix special within the Strawberry Shortcake Bake Shop game.

Strawberry Shortcake has expanded far beyond its start on greeting cards. The brand now has multiple animated series, games, and a full portfolio of products. WildBrain continues to engage fans across different platforms with events, new partnerships, and animated releases.
