Visitors at the 69th Spielwarenmesse can visit the Tech2Play activity area in Hall 4A to see highlights of the newest tech toys. The show takes place from Jan. 31 to Feb. 4, and the tech section will feature German and international manufacturers across four categories.
The featured categories include Robot Toys, RC Toys, Virtual Play, and Electronic Learning. The activity area gives independent retailers and buyers the opportunity to gain an overview, try out the products, and find new ideas for their toy ranges.
The Robot Toys category focuses on interactive toys that teach programming skills to kids. The category features Germany’s Kinematics GmbH, UBTECH Robotics Corp. from China, and more.
Additionally, RC will feature an entire section devoted to remote-controlled (R/C) vehicles with drones and multicopters. Companies that will be showcased here include Sieper GmbH, SIKU, and Neat-OH! International.
Augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) add new aspects to the overall virtual experience. The Virtual Play category showcases products from companies including Goliath Toys GmbH and Rollplay/Paragon.
Electronic Learning highlights toys that teach kids aspects of the sciences or foreign languages. This category includes Tech Will Save Us from the UK and DIALOG TOYS c/o Linguwerk GMBH from Germany.
To help visitors navigate the Tech2Play Area, each category is presented individually. More information is available at spielwarenmesse.de/en/tech2play.
Spielwarenmesse also partnered with JOSEPHS, the open innovation laboratory in Nuremberg, which allows visitors to play an active part in the creation and improvement of product innovations throughout the year. During the Spielwarenmesse, three German companies—PION-ONE AG, NeoBird GmbH & Co. KG, and DEXPERIO GmbH—will showcase their innovations and prototypes from the fields of VR and AR.
