The Thailand Toy Expo — Hong Kong Pavilion (HK Pavilion) will return from April 4-7 at Centralworld in Bangkok, Thailand. The HK Pavilion was first launched in 2023 and highlighted Hong Kong’s art toy designers, creativity, and business opportunities.
The Innovative Entrepreneur Association (IEA) will showcase 20 leading art toy designers from Hong Kong at the event and hopes to highlight the uniqueness of Hong Kong’s art and toy culture to individuals overseas while promoting international cultural exchange and cooperation.
The 2023 HK Pavilion was organized by IEA and supported by Create Hong Kong (CreateHK), with the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) as the Lead Sponsor. The organizer of the Thailand Toy Expo 2024 invited IEA to set up the second edition of HK Pavilion, which will help Hong Kong designers to further expand into Thailand and Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) markets.
The Thailand Toy Expo 2024 — Hong Kong Pavilion was unveiled today during a Launch Ceremony in Hong Kong. Victor Tsang, Head of CreateHK, officiated the ceremony with IEA President Cherrie Chong and IEA committee members. The 20 exhibiting designers joined with their original art toys.
“IEA is pleased to lead Hong Kong art toy designers to explore overseas business opportunities by joining Thailand Toy Expo for the second year. This expo enables the creativities and achievements of Hong Kong brands to be seen and known to overseas industry players. The four-day exhibition gathers about 150 exhibitors and attracts more than 300,000 buyers every year,” Chong says.
“IEA’s role not only supports 20 selected Hong Kong designers in selling their original art toys at the HK Pavilion, but also actively coordinates and negotiates cooperation opportunities to increase their exposure in overseas markets, thereby exploring business opportunities in the ASEAN market.”
