Messe Frankfurt’s Toy & Edu China, Baby & Stroller China, and Licensing China shows are set to return April 8-10 at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center. Building on the success of the 2023 shows, which saw a 40% increase in visitors from 2022, these fairs aim to provide even more opportunities to attendees.

As The Toy Book reported last August, several international attendees are expected for this year’s shows. China’s new visa-free policies as well as the steady increase in global travel are both positive indicators for the shows’ hopeful success. Visitors across 30 countries and regions have already pre-registered for this year’s events.

The World of Play Summit is making a return this year, with several sessions exploring trends within the industry, such as Andrew Kamody and Christopher Byrne’s “Building your Private Label Business;” Brendan Boyle’s “Building a Culture of Innovation;” Emile Kalis’ “The Future of Educational Toys & Play Based Learning;” Fabien Pacory’s “Changes on Sino-EU Business Environment and Impact on Toy and Baby Industry;” and Joseph Farco’s “How to Make Your Fun Without Getting in Trouble.”

The fairs will also host the Marketing & Sustainability Development for the Toy Industry Forum; Greater Bay Area Brand Licensing Industry Development Forum; and more.

With more than 1,400 exhibitors from seven countries and regions, the upcoming shows promise various opportunities to potential buyers. The three fairs are organized by the Guangdong Toy Association, Guangzhou Li Tong Messe Frankfurt Co., and Messe Frankfurt. More information about each of the shows is available on the official webpages: Toy & Edu China, Baby & Stroller China, Licensing China.
