The 2024 Total Home & Gift Market, running from Jan. 10-16 at the Dallas Market Center, reported a strong opening with a 17% increase in attendance over the first two days of the event compared to last January.
You can feel the energy of new and returning buyers … who have come to Dallas for the newest products, grand openings of more than 30 showrooms, and the expanded Temps. We are expecting traffic to remain steady throughout the weekend and into next week.
The increased attendance wasn’t missed by exhibitors. “We’re off to a strong start, and we’re impressed with the number of new West Coast stores, especially California and Washington, in attendance,” says Diverse Marketing’s CEO, Wes Hardin. “There is good energy and positive momentum in Dallas.”
The show hosted a number of events, with talks, tours, competitions, giveaways, and more. Temp exhibitors were featured from Jan. 10-13, with a Market Hall Immediate Goods Temps Tour with the Boutique Hub on the first day of the show. Toys also had their moment to shine at this year’s show, thanks to a partnership with The Toy Association. The Toy Fair Pavilion featured toy industry leaders displaying a variety of different products.
Anne McGilvary & Company celebrated the grand opening of its new Dallas showroom in the World Trade Center. “It’s off to a great start in our new home,” says CEO Liesl Ludwig. “We are seeing many new retailers and opening new accounts from all over the country. We’re happy to be a part of such a lively marketplace.”
