TV nostalgia and hip-hop culture are colliding in the designer toy space as actor David Faustino and toy industry veteran David Vonner introduce a premium vinyl collectible based on the cult-favorite character Grandmaster B.
Fans of the classic sitcom Married… with Children know Grandmaster B as the swagger-heavy rap alter ego of Bud Bundy, Faustino’s character on the long-running series. The persona blended satire, swagger, and ’90s hip-hop culture, turning a comedic gag into one of the show’s most memorable pop culture moments.

Vonner developed the vinyl art toy through his boutique design firm, VONNER Studios. A 30-year toy industry veteran, Vonner has helped shape several of the modern toy aisle’s most recognizable action figure lines and now focuses on premium collectibles that connect entertainment, music, and global pop culture.
“This piece isn’t just about a character. It’s about an era. Hip-hop was shaping identity in the ’90s,” Vonner says. “Grandmaster B represented comedy, confidence, and cultural crossover. Bringing him into the vinyl art space preserves that moment in time.”
The project also reflects Faustino’s long-standing connection to hip-hop culture. In the early 1990s, the actor owned Balistyx, a hip-hop dance club on the Sunset Strip that attracted artists including B-Real of Cypress Hill, Eazy-E, will.i.am and Taboo of the Black Eyed Peas, and producer The Alchemist.
The Grandmaster B vinyl art toy will debut at Toylanta 2026, March 27-29, in Duluth, Georgia. Vonner will reveal preorder details, edition size, and release information during the event.
