Teletubbies had its start as a live-action British series for children, first released in 1997. The brand has endured since then, with products, new shows, and more featuring the four colorful characters. WildBrain, known for its kids’ content, is continuing the trend by securing a number of new offerings for its Teletubbies franchise.

Included in the new licensing partnerships is a deal with the Loyal Subjects for collectible figures, with ONCH for a jewelry and accessories collection, and with a Leading Role for a collection of costumes and accessories.

Apparel deals include one with Dumbgood for a streetwear and accessories collection launching in June, an apparel range from Brand Alliance later this year in the UK, and accessories with Concept One.

Teletubbies has also seen two recent releases of new series content, with the CG-animated Teletubbies Let’s Go! Premiering on the Teletubbies YouTube channel last year, and the new live-action Teletubbies series making its way to Netflix in December 2022. Both shows have upcoming international releases as well.

WildBrain CPLG, like many other industry bigs, is planning on bringing opportunities with the Teletubbies brand to the upcoming Licensing Expo this June. Visit the WildBrain CPLG stand at F214.
