One of the most popular games on Roblox is getting a doll line and an animated series on YouTube.

WowWee has partnered with game developer and publisher Gamefam to create a doll line based on its “Twilight Daycare” game within the Roblox platform. The dolls are slated to be the first of many projects to come from the collaboration.

In “Twilight Daycare,” users play as babies, toddlers, or caretakers in an immersive social roleplay world in which players can feed, change diapers, and play with toys. Inspired by the babies in the game, each doll will scan back into the game for kids to unlock exclusive characters that players can use and interact with.

“As a toymaker, it has been fascinating to see the evolution of the Roblox metaverse and its role in kids’ play and social interaction,” says Sydney Wiseman, vice president of brand development and creative strategy at WowWee. “We knew that with the right partner we could merge the two worlds and create exciting toys that can also be brought into the metaverse.”

Additionally, Wind Sun Sky is working with Gamefam on Twilight Daycare: The Show, an all-new digital series that will stream this fall on YouTube.

“At Wind Sun Sky we look for content with transformational, cross-platform, brand-building potential that challenges us creatively and we can sink our teeth into,” says Wind Sun Sky CEO and Executive Producer Catherine Winder. “Taking Roblox content and elevating it to other platforms called out to our team as our next adventure. Gamefam’s ‘Twighlight Daycare’ is the perfect fit — it’s a fun, irreverent, and hilarious world ripe for storytelling.”

“Twilight Daycare” has racked up more than one billion minutes of gameplay per month on Roblox. The dolls will hit store shelves and will be available for purchase next year.
