After 12 years apart, Playmates Toys and Star Trek have been reunited.

To kick off an extensive, franchise-spanning licensing agreement with ViacomCBS, Playmates Toys beamed up a first look at an assortment of new products to be released in July under the Star Trek Universe banner.

The first wave includes eight, 5-inch scale action figures, a classic Enterprise, and a Phaser role-play toy.

Action figures under the Star Trek Universe banner feature 14 points of articulation and will be packaged on either classic, 1990s style “nostalgic” packaging or on newly designed Star Trek Universe blister cards.
