The Model Railway and Model Construction toy segments will merge into a single product group at the 70th Spielwarenmesse, taking place from Jan. 30 to Feb. 3.

The new group, Model Railway and Model Construction, will exhibit in Halls 7 and 7A. Manufacturers such as Tamiya, Märklin, NOCH, and Bachmann will come together to offer a mix of products for trade buyers. Manufacturers whose products are more relevant to the toy trade in the classical sense will switch to the Electronic Toys category in Hall 4A.

In addition to model railways and accessories for building dioramas and scenery, the new product group features model construction sets, die-cast models, and innovative RC and RTR models. Hall 7A will also host small series manufacturers with more unusual model railways and accessories.
