Arcade1Up Launches Preorders for Limited Edition Capcom Marvel Super Heroes Home Arcade Machine

One of the most-anticipated home arcade cabinets of the year is now available for preorder as a limited edition.

Arcade1Up’s Limited Edition Capcom Marvel Super Heroes Home Arcade Game features exclusive artwork, a light-up marquee, an included 12-inch riser, and Sanwa buttons and joysticks. Included in the Marvel cabinet is Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men: Children of the Atom, and The Punisher. Released to coincide with Marvel’s 80th Anniversary celebration, just 8,000 cabinets will be produced, each available to order exclusively through Arcade1Up.com for $399.

Arcade1Up Limited Edition Marvel Cabinet

“With the excitement around our recently announced Marvel cabinet, we wanted to provide our hardcore fans with something special to celebrate Marvel’s birthday,” says Scott Bachrach, CEO, Tastemakers, LLC. “We could not be happier with having a licensing partner like Marvel, which has been driving the world of pop-culture to new and exciting territories for the last 80 years.”

Fans who attended the first-ever Con Kickoff Party (pictured top) thrown by our sister publication, the Pop Insider, at the start of last week’s Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC) were among the first to play Arcade1Up’s new Marvel Super Heroes machine in the wild. At Coin-Op Gaslamp, players got to experience the new machine during an evening of retro arcade fun.

This fall, Arcade1Up will add three new machines to its core lineup, including the standard edition of Capcom’s Marvel Super Heroes, Konami’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,  and Atari Star Wars.
