Bluefin, North America’s leader in the distribution of toys from Japan has partnered with Kawada in importing and distributing Nanoblock, Kawada’s micro construction line of block toys.

This is a new, exclusive partnership that will see the popular Japanese toy line distributed in the U.S. and Canada beginning on April 1. Bluefin plans to support the growing line with new initiatives in marketing and sales, with special offers of various Nanoblock items for its fanbase.

President and CEO of Bandai Namco Collectibles, Steve Fujimura is ready to grow the success they’ve had with their Bandai Hobby brand for the past 15 years. “Nanoblock presents a great opportunity for us to offer our customers even more great collectible products by way of their user-friendly, highly detailed, and precise building block product lines,” says Fujimura.

If you’re not already familiar with the building system that is Nanoblock, these micro-sized blocks measure just .2 inches tall, offering a detailed, rewarding build. The available set styles include buildings, popular characters, and more.

To start, Bluefin will import and distribute five main Nanoblock product lines: Classic Nanoblock, Nanoblock Hobby, Nanoblock Collection, Nanoblock Pokémon, and Nanoblock Character. The sets themselves vary in difficulty and will range in price from $9.99 to more than $100. Nanoblock Character or Pokémon will be best to introduce to new builders before they tackle advanced sets, which may include more than 1,000 pieces.
