Mattel and BBC Studios are expanding the world of Bluey through a multiyear global licensing partnership that will bring the animated series to five of Mattel’s franchises. The first products from the collaboration will arrive this fall across Barbie, Hot Wheels, Fisher-Price, Polly Pocket, and UNO.

Created by Joe Brumm and produced by Ludo Studio, Bluey follows a blue heeler dog who lives with her parents, Bandit and Chilli, and younger sister, Bingo. The series is known for its focus on play, family life, humor, and storytelling, and has received multiple Emmy Awards; it was the most-streamed show in the world for two consecutive years, in 2024 and 2025.

“Bluey reminds us that the best play doesn’t require anything extraordinary, just creativity, laughter, and the people you love,” shares Nick Karamanos, Head of Entertainment Partnerships at Mattel

The collaboration features Bluey characters and stories across Little People figures and playsets, Barbie dolls and accessories, Polly Pocket compact playsets, Hot Wheels vehicles, and UNO card games.

“We’re bringing Bluey, Bingo, and their family and friends to brands fans already know and love, inviting families to create new stories, adventures, and memories together,” Karamanos adds.

The Little People collection includes Bluey, Bingo, Bandit, Chilli, and additional characters, while the Barbie Cutie Reveal line features dolls dressed as Bluey and Bingo characters. Polly Pocket, Hot Wheels, and UNO will each offer their own Bluey-inspired products.

“Bluey has resonated with families around the world because it celebrates the creativity and connection that comes through play,” says Suzy Raia, Executive Vice President, Global Consumer Products at BBC Studios. “Mattel’s portfolio of iconic brands makes them an ideal partner to extend that spirit through new and engaging play experiences.”

The partnership adds Bluey products across five established Mattel franchises as the brand continues to expand its global consumer products program. Bluey makes her feature-film debut in The Bluey Movie next summer, Aug. 6, 2027.
