Build-A-Bear Workshop is celebrating fall with a new Halloween collection.
The seasonal lineup, dubbed OctoBEAR, expands on last year’s hits with new plush, accessories, and collectibles designed to appeal to kids, families, and an ever-growing community of adult fans.
“Halloween has become one of the most anticipated seasons at Build-A-Bear,” says Kim Utlaut, Chief Brand Officer at Build-A-Bear Workshop. “We’re thrilled to introduce new characters like the Zombie Axolotl and Skelebara, two trend-setting creatures that have captured hearts across generations. This year’s collection is all about celebrating the spooky, the sweet, and the wildly imaginative.”
Among the standout additions is the Posable Bat, which quickly sold out after its debut earlier this season, joining returning favorite Pumpkin Kitty and newcomer Spooky Kitty. Other highlights include the Zombie Axolotl, a bright green axolotl with a playful zombie twist; the Skelebara, a skeleton-inspired capybara; and the Pumpkin Glow Teddy Bear, which lights up with a jack-o’-lantern design. Axolotls and capybaras are very popular among school-aged children.
The Halloween range also features online exclusives, such as Groovy Goblin and a collection of edgier styles in the Bear Cave, the company’s age-gated shop for fans ages 18 and up. Build-A-Bear has also introduced a Mini Beans collection, scaling down popular Halloween characters into collectible, pocket-sized plush.
With glowing bears, spooky-cute designs, and imaginative twists on trending creatures, Build-A-Bear continues to position Halloween as one of its most anticipated seasons. The full collection is available online and in Build-A-Bear Workshop stores nationwide.
