Carve-X at Toy Fair 2027

Carve Communications is bringing its Carve-X media experience to Toy Fair New York 2027, placing the activation inside Javits Center for the first time.

Carve-X is scheduled to run Feb. 20-23 in the Special Events (D-Hall) Lobby on Level 1, giving participating brands a dedicated space to showcase products directly to media, influencers, and content creators.

“Integrating an immersive experience like Carve-X into Toy Fair just makes sense. Both organizations are aligned in making Toy Fair New York the most engaging event on the calendar for brands, buyers, distributors, media, and influencers. Adding Carve-X to the floorplan furthers that mission, and we couldn’t be more excited to see our vision come to life,” says David Barkoe, CEO and Founder of Carve Communications.

The setup moves products out of traditional displays and into staged playrooms, bedrooms, outdoor areas, and other environments designed to show them in action. The New York edition will use an apartment-style layout built for hands-on demonstrations, photography, video, social content, and broadcast segments.

Bringing Carve-X to Javits is a win-win-win for our members, attendees, and the media. It injects another level of excitement and interactivity, aligning perfectly with our core vision for Toy Fair 2027."
— Greg Ahearn, President & CEO of The Toy Association

Toy companies can participate whether or not they have a traditional booth elsewhere at Toy Fair. Carve Communications is also offering sponsorship opportunities around the activation.

“Carve-X delivers an elite, uncompromised experience focused 110% on media and influencers where they always take center stage,” adds Scott Goldberg, Managing Director and EVP of Carve Communications. “True to form, our products will never be trapped behind packaging or locked on a shelf. They will be front and center, and ready for action in a stunning New York City apartment-style setting that is intentionally built for viral user-generated content, jaw-dropping photo ops, and high-impact TV segments.”

Carve has not yet revealed the full 2027 brand lineup. Previous Carve-X participants include Golden Bear, Red Toolbox, PLAYMOBIL, and Ultra PRO.

Credentialed reporters, producers, and content creators interested in appointments with Carve clients during Toy Fair can pre-register by emailing CarveX@CarveComms.com. Brands interested in participation or sponsorship opportunities can use the same address.

Toy Fair guests can also look forward to a newly expanded presence for The Toy Book x The Licensing Book, The Toy Insider, and The Pop Insider, with details to be revealed in the months ahead. Editorial submissions for the 2027 edition of The BIG Toy Book open in October.
