Crayola Studios, with new partnerships behind it, is readying to launch a new family competition and an animated series.

Working with sister company Hallmark Media, Crayola Studios develops entertainment content for the iconic crayon company. Now, it’s partnering up with Marwar Junction Productions as well as Moonbug Entertainment to develop an animated series and family competition format.

Joining forces with Marwar Junction presents us with an opportunity to create a stand-out new entertainment concept that will give families a chance to compete in a creative setting and inspire children at home to get creative, too. And teaming up with digital experts Moonbug Entertainment will enable us to boost our digital offering with an innovative short-form series that has color, creativity, and discovery at its heart.

The Crayola and Marwar Junction Productions duo will develop The Great Crayola Showdown (working title). The family competition will invite contestants to participate in a variety of challenges requiring innovative thinking and creativity.

With Moonbug Entertainment, known for its work on CoComelon and Blippi, Crayola Studios is developing the new Crayola Crew. This combination 2D and 3D CGI-animated series follows Bria and Rafa as they go on adventures in the vibrant world of Colorverse, joined by a collection of crayon characters.

Beyond the planned series, Moonbug Entertainment and Crayola Studios, will also create new short-form content, joining existing offerings like the YouTube series Scribble Scrubbie Pets.

Crayola is already known by little artists, but the brand continues to expand its reach through new avenues such as entertainment. With the fresh offerings, Crayola hopes to encourage creativity in young kids and their families.
