Diaframma

As the global spread of COVID-19 continues to disrupt business, many companies are being forced to get creative.

For Diaframma — the Italian studio that has been serving the toy industry for more than 40 years — being creative is at the core of its business. Now, its team is showing off how it can be #CreativeAtHome as the company evolves to serve its clients during changing times. In a new test shoot, Diaframma uses a LEGO Batman set to show what it’s capable of pulling off when the studio becomes a work-from-home affair.

Founded by Daniele Abolaffio in 1976, Diaframma has created commercials for many iconic toys and games. Its roster of current and past clients includes companies such as Nintendo, Spin Master, MGA Entertainment, VTech, Rubik’s, and WowWee for brands including L.O.L. Surprise!, Pokémon, Rubik’s, and more.

Ahead of Toy Fair New York this year, the Toy Book caught up with Jehan Hindo, Diaframma’s vice president of U.S. sales, for some insight as to how the company has grown and expanded over the years and how it continues to evolve to serve toymakers of any size across an ever-changing array of platforms.
