When you need gear for fighting the unknown, who ya gonna call?
This year, Disguise — the Halloween division of Jakks Pacific — is rolling out a full assortment of costumes, accessories, and roleplay items based on Sony’s Ghostbusters franchise. June 8 is Ghostbusters Day, the annual celebration marking the anniversary of the theatrical release of Ghostbusters in 1984. In recent years, the day has become popular for new product reveals, and this year is no exception.
Disguise is the official costume licensee for Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and while most of the assortment remains under embargo until later this year, the company just launched a pair of costumes inspired by the Mini Pufts. The toddler Mini Puft costume and Inflatable Mini Puft Kids’ costume will be available at major retailers later this year.
For fans of the original film and its 1989 sequel, Ghostbusters II, Disguise is showing off an assortment of Classic Ghostbusters roleplay accessories that are available to preorder now from retailers including Entertainment Earth. The line includes a kid-sized Inflatable Proton Pack with Wand, a PKE Meter, Ghost Trap, and Ecto Goggles for kids ages 6 and up.
Additionally, Disguise will offer an adult-size Inflatable Stay Puft Marshmallow Man costume.

Beyond Ghostbusters, it’s been a busy year for Disguise. The company recently inked deals to create costumes and accessories for Bluey, CoComelon, the Universal Brand Development portfolio, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, PAW Patrol: The Movie, Nintendo’s Kirby, and Moonbug’s Blippi, in addition to a deal with Funko to produce a line of Pop!
