Entertainment One (eOne) is tuning up the Ricky Zoom brand for the animated show’s debut on the British TV network Channel 5’s multiplatform preschool destination, Milkshake! Episodes from the first season of the series will air on the channel daily, Monday-Friday, beginning on April 20.

eOne is supporting the debut with the digital release of three new songs from the world of Ricky Zoom, including an extended mix of the theme song and two brand-new originals, which will be available on streaming platforms in mid-April. eOne found previous success releasing music for Peppa Pig and PJ Masks.

A UK-wide influencer outreach campaign will also aim to drive traffic to the Milkshake! broadcast. Parenting influencers with a combined reach of 1.2 million followers across the nation will help promote the positive family values of Ricky Zoom and encourage co-viewing of the series.

The Channel 5 launch follows Ricky Zoom’s strong debut last fall on Nick Jr. in the UK, in which nearly 1.5 million viewers tuned into the series. An Easter-themed special episode will premiere on Nick Jr., as well.
