It’s official: Kid Trax is now part of the Flybar family of companies.
Kid Trax manufactures a wide array of highly detailed, battery-powered ride-on toys that are sold at a variety of retailers across North America. Previously operated by Pacific Cycle as a sister brand to Schwinn and Mongoose, Kid Trax’s future was placed into question last fall amid a restructuring effort by Pacific Cycle’s parent company, Pon Holdings.
Flybar acquired Kid Trax and tells The Toy Book that it plans to “build upon the strong foundation and drive significant innovation in the ride-on category that will delight consumers and revolutionize the ride-on category for years to come.”
More details on Flybar’s plans for Kid Trax will be revealed in the months ahead as the 2024 lineup takes shape.
Flybar has been around since 1918 and manufactures pogo sticks, bumper cars, swings, R/C vehicles, and more. The company has grown in market share over the past few years through strategic acquisitions, including Antsy Pants, Swurfer, and more.
