Faber-Castell is partnering with The World of Eric Carle Brand to launch a collection of craft and activity kits. This spring, Faber-Castell’s Creativity for Kids brand will bring arts-based products based on Eric Carle’s famous books to shelves. This alliance for the World of Eric Carle Brand and Creativity for Kids was brought together by the exclusive global licensing agent Joester Loria Group

The Creativity for Kids brand consistently provides high-quality art supplies and crafts that inspire kids’ creativity. The new Eric Carle craft kits add visual and tactile excitement to his classic animal stories. Kids ages 3 and up can engage with different artistic activities based on the brightly-colored illustrations and tale of a caterpillar who loves to snack.

“The World of Eric Carle has long been adored for its ability to nurture a child’s love of literature and learning while encouraging imaginative play, so we are so very honored to partner with the literary license to continue our mission in enriching lives through creativity and self-expression,” says Scott Flynn, President & CEO of Faber-Castell USA.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Ready to Grow Garden is based on the Creativity for Kids’ Grow collection which kids can use to decorate, plant, and grow their own terrariums. In a sunny room next to their terrariums, kids can create their own Very Hungry Caterpillar Sticker Suncatchers, bold suncatchers with translucent stickers and window clings.

Theatrical kids will enjoy The Very Hungry Caterpillar Story Puppets. They can develop their language and imagination skills by decorating bright puppets with peel-and-stick felt shapes and putting on their own shows.

These felt shapes also feature in The Very Hungry Caterpillar Fun Felt Play product. The open-ended art activity lets kids tell their own version of Eric Carle’s story, expanding their creativity and imagination abilities.

Kids can also practice making art with different materials such as stickers and pop poms in The Very Hungry Caterpillar Craft & Play Pictures set, which includes 3 different pictures. Finally, the Very Hungry Caterpillar My Book Tote makes the perfect companion to the library. The canvas bag includes vivid peel-and-stick fabric shapes to decorate with.
