Surge Licensing, the global licensing and entertainment agency for William Mark Corporation’s Feisty Pets, entered a global publishing deal with Scholastic.

The deal expands Feisty Pets from its YouTube series and plush toy line into chapter books, collectors’ guide books, graphic novels, and activity and novelty books. The first two titles, Get Feisty! and Official Feisty Pets Handbook, will be published in March. 

Jazwares is the global master toy partner for Feisty Pets, which are interactive plush that go from friendly to ferocious with a squeeze. With characters such as Glenda Glitterpoop, Sammy Suckerpunch, Sir-Growls-a-lot, and Vicky Vicious, hidden “Stuffed Attitude” emotions suddenly appear with raging fans, evil sarcastic grins, or doofus smiles. Feisty Pets videos have gone viral with a number of them generating hundreds of millions of views globally. On October 1, the Feisty Pets channel had one million views in one day.
