Fisher-Price has put out a recall for two of its Thomas & Friends trains.
The recall is for Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway Troublesome Truck & Crates and Troublesome Truck & Paint. The Troublesome Truck & Crates is a black-and-gray train car with brown crates while the Troublesome Truck & Paint is a black-and-gray train car with gray paint cans and a yellow paint splatter on the side. The trains come with magnetic connectors to attach to other vehicles. Model numbers HBJ89 (Troublesome Truck & Crates) and HBJ90 (Troublesome Truck & Paint) can be found on the bottom of the train cars.

Thomas & Friends Wooden Railway Troublesome Trucks have received one report of the plastic connector becoming loose and detaching from the product, which can pose choking hazards. No injuries have been reported. The set was sold on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and specialty stores across the U.S. from February 2022 to August 2023 for around $17.
Parents are advised to immediately take away the toys, and should go to service.mattel.com and click on “Recalls & Safety Alerts” for instructions on how to receive a pre-paid return label via email from Fisher-Price. Customers will receive a full refund upon receipt of the returned product.
