Genius Brands International’s Kartoon Channel! continues its rollout across streaming OTT and AVOD platforms with the addition of a dedicated app for iOS.

The new Kartoon Channel! app debuted on the app store this week, rocketing into the Top 10 Free Apps for Kids Chart within the first 24 hours of release. The app is holding strong in the Top 25 as of this writing as families in the Apple ecosystem continue to discover the app, which provides free access to a variety of high-quality kids’ content.

“We are thrilled that the viewing audience has discovered Kartoon Channel! so quickly,” says Andy Heyward, chairman and CEO, Genius Brands. “The multitude of parents downloading our app for their kids has skyrocketed … [the app is] already significantly ahead of our plan.”

Kartoon Channel! includes episodes of Babar, Angry Birds, Stan Lee’s Mighty7, Thomas Edison’s Secret Lab, Baby Einstein, Baby Genius, Llama Llama shorts, Warren Buffett’s Secret Millionaires Club, and more. The service also features family-friendly gaming content, including Minecraft’s Journey to the End, Fairy Horse Quest, Octodad, PixArk, and Big B Roblox Challenge from Tankee.

Beyond the iOS app, Kartoon Channel! is available on Apple TV, Android (mobile), Android TV, Amazon Fire Stick, Roku, Xumo, Comcast Xfinity, Cox, Dish Network, and Sling.
