Kids in Italy have some new dinosaur friends to play with.

Gigantosaurus, the international preschool series featuring four adventurous dinosaurs, inspired a new line of toys and plush that debuted in Italy this month under Giochi Preziosi’s Grandi Giochi brand. The collaboration between manufacturer United Smile and Cyber Group Studios, producer of the animated series, includes a wide range of products.

The collection includes a Gigantosaurus action figure with moveable jaws and stomping paws as well as a wide assortment of mini figures and the Mighty Mini Friends Egg, which includes a mini character and slime inside. The Soft Buddies plush collection includes four, super soft characters to collect, while the Gigantosaurus feature plush boasts roaring and stomping sounds.

“The Giochi Preziosi Group has been our long-term partner, ensuring the line’s success and permeability in the market,” says Maurizio Distefano Licensing, agent for Gigantosaurus in Italy.

Season three of Gigantosaurus recently premiered on Disney+ in Italy and includes two new characters, Spinosaurus and Missy, an Incisivosaurus. The new season will debut on Rai Yoyo in Italy in the near future.

Gigantosaurus is based on the book by Jonny Duddle and premiered in the U.S. on Disney Junior in 2019. Its third and final season made its U.S. debut in 2021 and inspired a range of toys and other licensed products, including a video game.
