LEGO is no stranger to the world of video games, but this new collaboration takes it to the next level.
The LEGO Group and Epic Games are bringing a new world to Fortnite with LEGO Fortnite, a new survival crafting game housed inside Fortnite and the first play experience to come from the partnership.
In LEGO Fortnite, players can explore open worlds where LEGO building and Fortnite gameplay come together. Along with the launch, players can also get LEGO versions of some of their favorite skins, with more than 1,200 skins now featuring LEGO alternatives. The LEGO version of each skin comes with the purchase of the original skin, so players may already have some LEGO looks in their lockers.
The two companies announced their partnership last year with the united goal of bringing positive digital experiences to young players and their families. LEGO Fortnite is rated E10+ and will launch inside the Fortnite game starting Thursday, Dec. 7.
