MGA Entertainment subsidiary MGA Studios is remaking the 2021 South Korean television show Armored Saurus with its new video series Armorsaurs. A new series means new distribution deals, and MGA has signed on with Cake to handle media distribution rights globally outside of South Korea, Japan, China, and France.
MGA is excited to partner with Ed and his team at Cake for distribution of our new series around the world. The Cake team had an immediate connection with the 'Armorsaurs' concept, and we look forward to working together to bring the series to a global audience.
Armorsaurs follows armored dinosaurs with pilots working to save the world from extraterrestrial invaders. The series’ first season will have 13 half-hour episodes featuring CGI animation and live-action. The original series, Armored Saurus, was developed by Daewon Media and followed protagonist Jin and his T-Rex.
Cake has prior experience representing new series that see success. The entertainment company has previously worked with Rovio Entertainment, Fresh TV, Kickstart, and more.
Armorsaurs is expected to premiere in 2025 across the globe. MGA Entertainment established MGA Studios just a year ago, and is already working to expand its portfolio of family-friendly content. It has the rights to more than 7,000 trademarks, patents, and copyrighted works. MGA Entertainment as a whole is known for brands such as L.O.L. Surprise!, Bratz, Little Tikes, and more.
