Nintendo and Kraft Heinz are extending their partnership to power up lunchtime.
Beginning Sept. 1, families will be able to find characters from popular Nintendo Switch games on specially-marked Lunchables packages. The characters featured on the new boxes include fan-favorites from video games, including Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Super Mario Odyssey, and Splatoon 2. Additionally, families can catch Lunchables packages featuring Pokémon from the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield Expansion Pass DLC packs.
“By continuing our partnership with Lunchables, we’re hoping to bring the joy of Nintendo characters to even more families across the U.S.,” says Nick Chavez, Nintendo of America’s SVP, sales and marketing. “Lunchables has always had a special approach to making lunchtime fun for kids and parents, and we’re happy they can enjoy lunch with Nintendo characters by their side.”
The Nintendo-branded packages feature game codes for a Nintendo Gaming Giveaway promotion and will be available at retail through Dec. 31 or while supplies last.
