Disney Junior’s newest series is racing for the toy department.

Spin Master inked a deal to develop a full range of toys inspired by the upcoming animated series, Firebuds. Created by Emmy Award-winner Craig Gerber (Sophia the First, Elena of Avalor), Firebuds is a music-filled series that follows the kids of first responders and their talking vehicle sidekicks as they learn what it means to be a real hero.

“Kids are going to fall in love with the fun and fearless characters in Firebuds, and Spin Master’s toy line will give fans ways to engage in and inspire play off-screen,” says Chris Beardall, Spin Master’s president of toys and chief commercial officer. “Combining our standout product innovation and deep expertise in the category with the inspirational characters and their adventures; the fun will extend from show to shelf to playrooms.”
