Penguin Random House is climbing aboard the Mighty Express and heading to Tracksville.

Spin Master inked a publishing deal for its Mighty Express franchise that will see a host of books released by Penguin Young Readers this fall. The global deal includes rights for picture books, board books, holiday books, sticker books, coloring books, and more.

“Mighty Express is an exciting franchise, with content developed through the lens of play which reaches preschoolers and their families through a multi-platform approach,” says Juli Boylan, vice president of franchise development and outbound licensing, Spin Master. “We are thrilled to be working with Penguin Young Readers, who are experts at sharing stories that will continue to build deeper engagement and brand love for Mighty Express.”

Mighty Express launched straight to streaming on Netflix last September. Spin Master’s wholly-owned franchise features a cast of trains and their kid best buddies that have big adventures in stories that promote hard world and celebrate accomplishments.

Spin Master will launch a full range of toys to support the series this fall.
