Mighty Express

Spin Master is building on its legacy of creating and developing powerhouse franchises with the 10th series from Spin Master Entertainment: Mighty Express.

Mighty Express is an all-new CGI-animated series for preschoolers from the creator and producers of PAW Patrol. Set to debut on Netflix in September, the 52 11-minute episodes will feature an ensemble cast of kids and colorful trains. Mighty Express is created by Keith Chapman (PAW Patrol, Bob the Builder), and is executive produced by Spin Master Entertainment’s Executive Vice President Jennifer Dodge and Spin Master’s Co-founder and Co-CEO Ronnen Harary.

“Spin Master Entertainment has deep experience developing compelling stories and endearing characters for preschool audiences worldwide,” Dodge says. “We have the unique ability to take classic, beloved themes for kids, add innovation, combined with amazing storytelling and high-end animation to deliver fresh, new content. We’re thrilled to partner with Netflix, furthering our commitment to multiplatform franchises.”

Mighty Express is Spin Master Entertainment’s largest production to date with Vancouver-based Atomic Cartoons. The series also marks the company’s first series developed to launch straight to a streaming platform — a part of its ongoing multiplatform content strategy.

Spin Master owns the series and maintains all rights for distribution (excluding streaming video-on-demand SVOD), licensing, and consumer products. A full range of toys will be released next year.

Netflix has streaming rights for all territories outside of Canada. A Canadian broadcast partner will be revealed at a later date.
